Benefits of Exericising

  • Exercise is significantly associated with one’s personal health when stressed.​

     

  • It is recommend to exercise at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity per week.

  • What is moderate physical activity?

    • Requires fast moving movements but not at full body potential.

    • One is able to “talk but not sing”

  • Vigorous physical activity leads for better mental health when exposed to high stress, as well as, improvements in sleep, pain, and stress.

  • What is vigorous physical activity?

    • Body is in full “work mode”

    • Increase in breathing and heart rate
